Your Partner in Positive Change

As a Psychology practice, Purple Door Psychology offers comprehensive therapy tailored to your individual needs. We work collaboratively with you to understand not only the challenges you are facing today, but also the experiences, strengths, and patterns that have shaped your journey. Together, we develop practical strategies that support lasting change and improve your wellbeing.

Our approach is warm, respectful, and person-centred, integrating the latest psychological research with genuine human connection. We recognise that every individual is unique, and therapy is never one-size-fits-all. Instead, we strive to create a safe and supportive environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered.

Whether you are taking your first steps into therapy or continuing your mental health journey, Purple Door Psychology welcomes you.

I work with adolescents and adults aged 16 years and older, providing warm, compassionate, and personalised psychological therapy and assessment. I aim to create a safe, collaborative space where you can explore your experiences, develop greater self-understanding, and work towards meaningful change.

I believe everyone’s story is unique, and that understanding the experiences, relationships, and environments that have shaped us can be an important part of healing and growth. My approach is curious, respectful, and collaborative, helping you develop insight into your thoughts, emotions, behaviours, strengths, and values.

I have a particular interest in women’s mental health, including PMDD, recovery from domestic and family violence, workplace stress and burnout, and major life transitions. I also work with people navigating trauma, anxiety, emotional difficulties, and neurodevelopmental differences such as Autism and ADHD.

I bring experience across a range of mental health settings, including addiction services, youth and young adult programs, and therapeutic group environments. My practice is trauma-informed and evidence-based, drawing on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). I tailor therapy to your individual needs rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.

I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and am a Board-Approved Supervisor, providing clinical supervision and professional support to psychologists and other mental health practitioners. I value ongoing learning and professional development and bring this commitment to both my clinical work and supervision.
